Gamepad Tester legal terms

Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using the browser tools. By accessing Gamepad Tester, you agree to use the service within these limits.

1. Accepting the Service

Gamepad Tester provides browser pages that display controller input and explain common diagnostic ideas. You may use the service for personal, educational, and ordinary device-check purposes. If you do not accept these terms, stop using the site. No account is needed, but your browser and network still need to support the features you select.

2. Diagnostic Results Are Informational

The page reports what the browser exposes at the time of a test. It does not promise that a controller will behave the same in every console, game, driver, browser, cable, or wireless environment. A center value, button response, or vibration result is not a factory certificate, repair report, latency guarantee, or safety inspection. Use the separate Disclaimer with every hardware decision.

3. Hardware and Repair Risk

You are responsible for the controller, computer, phone, cable, adapter, and connection used with the service. Do not force a stick, run a motor for an unreasonable period, or open a device because of one browser reading. Cleaning, soldering, firmware changes, battery work, and teardown can damage hardware or void a warranty. Perform physical work only when you understand the risk and have suitable guidance. Gamepad Tester is not liable for damage, data loss, injury, lost game progress, or another result caused by use of the site or an action based on its output.

4. Acceptable Use

Do not interfere with the site's operation, send abusive automated traffic, try to bypass browser security, or use the service to break a law. The site does not ask for controller uploads or private credentials. Do not place sensitive data in a support email unless it is needed to describe a technical issue.

5. Site Content

The Gamepad Tester name, original page copy, interface artwork, and code belong to the site owner unless a separate notice says otherwise. You may view the pages and use the tools as intended. Do not copy the interface into a competing service, republish the content as your own, or scrape the site in a way that harms availability. External links belong to their respective owners.

6. Availability and Changes

Browser APIs change, devices report different layouts, and a service may be unavailable during maintenance. We may update, limit, or remove a feature and may revise these terms by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. Include the page name and a short description of the issue. See the Privacy Policy to learn how the site handles controller data and browser preferences.
