Privacy Policy

Gamepad Tester follows a local-first approach: controller signals stay in your browser session, while normal page requests may still create routine hosting logs.

Controller Data Stays Local

The home tester reads buttons, axes, trigger values, and available vibration controls through the browser's Gamepad API. Those values are used to update the page while you test. Gamepad Tester does not upload controller input, store a device history, or build a profile from your hardware. When you close or reload the page, the live session ends.

No Account Is Required

You can use the public tester without creating an account or entering a name, phone number, or payment detail. The site has no sign-in area and no database for controller reports. If you choose to email [email protected], your mail provider will handle that message under its own privacy terms.

Browser Preferences

The theme switch may save a small preference in your browser's LocalStorage. It contains a theme value, not controller input. Clear site data in your browser to remove it. The Gamepad API itself may be restricted by browser security rules or by the connection method you use.

Basic Hosting Logs

A hosting provider can create routine access logs such as an IP address, request time, user-agent string, and requested path. These logs support delivery, abuse control, and service security. Gamepad Tester does not use those logs to identify a controller or sell a personal profile. Retention and processing depend on the hosting provider's terms.
